The only twin covered bridges in the United States built in the 1800's by W.C. Pennington for $720.00 and named after John Paden who operated a nearby sawmill. The East Paden bridge is a 72' Queen truss and the West Paden bridge is a 121' Burr Truss. The bridges are now located in Twin Bridges County Park. Photo by: Ralph E. Menne

Dr. Knisley Covered Bridge built in 1867 with the low sidewalls that illustrate Burr truss construction. This bridge is in Bedford County and crosses Dunnings Creek near Route 96 in West Clair Township.

Hillsgrove Covered Bridge sits in Sullivan County Pennsylvania. One of three remaining bridges in the County. The photo was adapted from one taken by Charles W. Probst.
